I realized this wasn't going to work out and started looking elsewhere. The entire north end of the county was a total dead zone as well as the southeast area. Generally I was kind of let down by both the coverage of the network and the device itself. The build quality is okay, albeit the speaker could be slightly louder. The phone app doesn't always respond to number presses, speed dial is simply not reliable. Even the main purpose, the phone, can be very buggy and unpredictable. It's goofy enough to bust out a flip phone, its even goofier to have to touch on the screen. This can be awkward on a flip phone and just doesn't seem well thought out. at times, The touch screen is not optional and you simply cannot do certain things without using it. I didn't really enjoy the UI on the phone. ![]() I loved the design, even thought I felt it to be unnecessarily large. I was initially excited as I was a big time fan of Nextel phones and used them until the phaseout of the system around 2012. I purchased the Cat S22 Flip on the $10 a month boost mobile plan. I work in the public sector and I have to use my cell phone all over the county to call and be reachable by complainants, be reachable by supervisors, dispatch, etc. ![]() My main phone is a Pixel 6a on Straight Talk (Verizon). Recently, I decided to get a separate phone for work.
